With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of my dear friend and storyteller of Honouring the Buffalo, Ray Lavallee. He died on April 1, at the age of 75 years.
A man ahead of his time in working towards the building of cultural bridges between his First Nation People and those of European descent.
We had wonderful visits, and I am grateful for his teachings. RIP.
