Judith Silverthorne is a multiple-award winning Canadian-based author of more than a dozen books, many of which are children’s novels, with one translated into Japanese. She also has two non-fiction biographical adult books to her credit, plus one international award winning picture book published in English/Cree and translated into French, and a recently released YA novel.
She has also written several hundred articles and columns for newspapers and magazines and in her spare time works as a journalist, freelance writer, manuscript evaluator, researcher, book reviewer, scriptwriter, and editor. She has also owned her own television documentary company, Spiral Communications for ten years, producing arts-related shows. She worked as an arts administrator as the Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild from 2010 until 2017, and is currently the Writer-in-Residence at the Regina Public Library for a nine month term.
She is also a freelance writer, editor, and researcher.
